Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shazaam McDaniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Rabago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabago has chosen Dance Gavin Dance - Strawberry Swisher Pt1 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Shazaam McDaniels is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shazaam McDaniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ray Rabago!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Rabago.
Rabago throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Shazaam McDaniels has been cut.
Rabago takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
McDaniels lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McDaniels shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rabago eats them both and turns towards McDaniels to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Jab, jab by McDaniels - just one landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rabago takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Rabago is rocked!
McDaniels throws a head kick that misses

and Rabago counters with a takedown into side control.
Rabago is still in real trouble! Can McDaniels finish him?
McDaniels is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Rabago seems to have recovered his senses.
Rabago prevents McDaniels from improving his position.
Rabago seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McDaniels does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McDaniels is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rabago is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McDaniels has managed to free his arm - good work.

McDaniels is trying is best to control the position here.

Rabago is working for a submission of some sort.

Rabago is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McDaniels is just riding it out for now. Rabago eventually gives up the hold.
McDaniels is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rabago is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Rabago is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McDaniels doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rabago.
McDaniels manages to get to full guard.
Rabago wants to pass the guard but McDaniels is keeping the position.
McDaniels wants to stand and escape but Rabago is having none of it.

Rabago decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McDaniels, up you get!
McDaniels connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rabago momentarily.

It looks like Ray Rabago has been cut.
McDaniels connects with a right hand. Rabago shakes it off.
Rabago throws a wild hook but McDaniels just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Rabago gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - McDaniels raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shazaam McDaniels!
A relieved looking Shazaam McDaniels thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
