Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Haffie did well to prevent Dick getting side control.
Dick throwing shots but Haffie is blocking nicely.
Haffie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dick throwing strikes but missing.
Dick tries to free his leg and advance position but Haffie is retaining full guard.
Haffie is trying to keep Dick in close.
Dick postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dick content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Haffie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nick Dick decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
