Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jess Blair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markus White will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

White closes the distance and clinches.

White escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blair throws a combination that misses

and White holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

White manages to break the clinch.

White scores with a takedown into Blair's guard.

White decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

White rushes Blair and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

White darts in and clinches Blair up against the cage.

White manages to break the clinch.

White fails to land with a series of punches.

Blair tries to keep at a distance but White has taken the fight into the clinch.

White breaks from the clinch.

White closes the distance and pushes Blair back into the cage.

White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

White gets in close and instigates a clinch.
White wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blair has him pressed against the cage.
Blair wants to take the fight to the mat but White manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Blair pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White stuns Blair with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blair moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blair gets off balance looking for a body kick

and White counters with a crisp one two that drops Blair! White thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Blair to his feet! Blair is in big trouble!

Markus White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Blair out cold! Blair is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
