The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a takedown
and Date counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Date to acknowledge the strikes.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Date connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silva instigates a clinch.
Date manages to break the clinch.
A jab from Date does it's job there.
Silva has Date up against the cage in a clinch.
Date lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Silva trying to stall but Date improves his position.
Date avoids the elbow strike from Silva, against the cage.
Date scores with an uppercut up the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Silva with a poor takedown
and Date counters with a left right combination that sends Silva crashing to the mat - Date wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Silva out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
