The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins scores with a hook.

It looks like George Pierre has been cut.
Perkins closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Pierre seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Perkins for as long as he can get away with.

and Perkins counters with a crisp one two that drops Pierre! Perkins thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pierre to his feet! Pierre is in big trouble!

Perkins cracks Pierre with an open hand slap.
Perkins lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Pierre head around and knocks him out cold! Perkins hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
