PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, AC/DC - Big Gun. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen tries to bum rush Rua with a series of wild strikes but Rua uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rua avoids the head kick by Hansen.
Hansen throws the kick towards the body but Rua avoids it.
No joy there for Hansen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rua tried to score with a low kick but Hansen checks it.

Hansen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hansen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rua has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rua and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gabriel Rua opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
