Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terrence Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harley Umbuku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrence Bailey has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terrence Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harley Umbuku!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Darius Henderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bailey shoots in and gets a takedown into Umbuku's guard.
Bailey throws a strike but Umbuku rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Umbuku wants to pass the guard but Bailey is keeping the position.

Bailey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Umbuku doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Umbuku manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bailey controls Umbuku momentarily but Umbuku frees himself.
Umbuku wants to control from the top but Bailey keeps moving.

Bailey is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Umbuku is aware though and is defending well.
Bailey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Umbuku on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bailey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Umbuku trying to control but Bailey is working from the bottom.
Bailey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bailey is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Umbuku is controlling him.

Bailey is looking for a triangle here but Umbuku uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Umbuku is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bailey looks calm but he's in trouble here. Umbuku gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bailey is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Umbuku lets go of the hold and Bailey can pop his arm back in it's socket.
