Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Mazivian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Maidana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mazivian is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Maidana's half guard.

Maidana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mazivian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mazivian decides to return to a standing position.
Mazivian has his takedown stuffed
and Maidana cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Maidana displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mazivian.
Mazivian walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Maidana misses with a double jab.

Mazivian manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Maidana on his heels. He'll look to pass Maidana's guard now, I'm sure.
Mazivian is pushing down on Maidana's leg trying to pass to half guard. Maidana is fighting to maintain full guard but Mazivian has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mazivian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mazivian is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Maidana sees it coming and defends easily.
Mazivian seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Mazivian is trying to work for a kimura but Maidana is defending well.

A chopping leg kick lands by Maidana.
Mazivian tries for a takedown but Maidana circles away easily
and Maidana cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mazivian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Maidana's guard.

Mazivian is working to tighten his grip on Maidana's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Maidana has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mazivian is really squeezing tight and eventually Maidana passes out! Mazivian breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
