Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Repa Tiitti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiitti comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC Back in Black . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiitti is looking to clinch.
Tiitti seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Diaz misses with a wild combination.
Diaz throws a big shot that misses.
Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tiitti is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Diaz.

Diaz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Diaz swings for the body but Tiitti moves out of range.

Diaz scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tiitti doesn't manage to clinch there - Diaz circles away.

Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tiitti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tiitti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tiitti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's time! Tiitti's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Diaz looks to land a combination but Tiitti avoids it well.

Diaz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Diaz there as he acknowledges the shot.

Tiitti dives in and grabs Diaz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes down on Tiitti's head and hops out.

Tiitti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Diaz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nick Diaz seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Tiitti fails with an attempt to clinch.

Tiitti closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Diaz's guard.
Diaz lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tiitti is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tiitti is trying to control. Diaz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Repa Tiitti overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tiitti has an Americana. Diaz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tiitti is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tiitti hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
