The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jasta throws a shot to the body.
Jasta swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jasta misses with a few strikes there.
Jasta just misses with a punch to the body.
Souza swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Souza clinches.
Jasta prevents the takedown attempt.

Souza jumps guard and drags Jasta to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jasta not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jasta continues to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jasta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Souza swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Souza pushes a forearm under Jasta's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jasta is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
