Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ak Tha Savior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tha Savior as he jumps to the side.
Tha Savior tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rich paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A left and a right from Rich both land. Nice combination.
Rich misses with a takedown
and Tha Savior counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Tha Savior swings for the body but Rich moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tha Savior. That's going to slow Rich down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tha Savior tries to clinch but Rich is having none of it.
A little feinted left hand from Rich on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Tha Savior throws a sloppy head kick
letting Rich counter with a right hand.
Tha Savior throws a body punch but Rich moves out of range.

Tha Savior is looking to stall here but Rich recovers full guard.
Rich throws a nice elbow from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rich has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tha Savior is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rich.

Tha Savior tries for a kimura but Rich is defending well.

Rich is refusing to be controlled, as Tha Savior sits in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tha Savior tries to pass to full mount but Rich defends it.
Tha Savior is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rich is staying active underneath Tha Savior, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rich is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tha Savior is trying to work for a kimura but Rich is defending well.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

It looked like Rich was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tha Savior landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Rich tries to pull guard but Tha Savior won't allow it.
Rich breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rich avoids the head kick by Tha Savior.
Tha Savior tries to score with a low kick but Rich moves his leg out of the way.
Tha Savior pushes Rich up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rich drags the fight down to the ground.
Tha Savior scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Rich wants to control but Tha Savior is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Tha Savior seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Ak Tha Savior has got the better of the ground game so far.
Tha Savior has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Rich works to full guard.
Tha Savior got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rich has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tha Savior has managed to get both his arms back between Rich's legs - danger averted.

Tha Savior is looking to stand back up but Rich counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Tha Savior.
Tha Savior has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rich is working away from the top position though.

Tha Savior moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Tha Savior has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Tha Savior looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tha Savior is trying to control the position but Rich postures up.
Rich trying to control the position from guard on top but Tha Savior is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tha Savior is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tha Savior will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rich lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Rich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
