The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trezeguet fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Chao is out of range.

and Trezeguet counters with a thumping low kick.
Chao throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Trezeguet with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chao to score with a decent uppercut.
Trezeguet closes the distance and clinches up with Chao, looking for a takedown. Trezeguet pushes Chao against the cage but Chao circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chao steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Trezeguet.
Chao chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Trezeguet can pounce on him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chao's corner calls for a 1-2. Chao obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
