Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Waistmuller!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
fouine tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Waistmuller stuffs the takedown.
Waistmuller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
fouine really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Waistmuller breaks from fouine's wrist control and lands an elbow.
It looks like la fouine has been cut.
Waistmuller looking to secure an arm triangle but fouine defends it well.
Waistmuller wants to take fouine's back but he can't do it this time.

fouine wants to control but Waistmuller is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Waistmuller tries to pass the half guard into mount. fouine knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Waistmuller is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Waistmuller has closed the distance and engaged fouine in a clinch.

fouine has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Waistmuller is working away from the top position though.

fouine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Waistmuller drops back, looking for a kneebar! fouine looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. fouine looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from fouine!

Waistmuller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
fouine has an Americana. Waistmuller didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! fouine is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if fouine hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
