Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blue Staff!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staff throws a low kick but it's checked well by Palms.
Staff rushes Palms and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Staff pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Staff closes the distance and clinches.
Palms is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Staff to keep the fight standing.
Staff tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Palms's elbow.
Staff misses with some punches.
Staff misses with a knee to the head.
Staff gets through Palms's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Palms pulls guard effortlessly.
Palms is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Staff frees his head nicely. Oh but Palms has switched to an armbar! Staff is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
