The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DiSoto works the jab nicely.
Eye tries to score a power double leg takedown but DiSoto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Eye somewhat.
Eye takes a shot right to the bread basket.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Eye has eaten all the pies!
DiSoto uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Eye rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but DiSoto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A combination from DiSoto does no damage.
Eye tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eye shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says DiSoto as he avoids it easily.
Eye swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
DiSoto misses with a hook to the body
and Eye counters with a left to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Eye 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Decent striking displayed by DiSoto there.
A looping hook to the body misses from DiSoto. Eye does a little dance to reset his feet.
Eye misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
DiSoto is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Jab, jab by DiSoto - just one landing.
DiSoto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eye moves away.
DiSoto connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Eye avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
DiSoto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Carlos DiSoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pop Eye.
DiSoto cracks a nice hook into Eye's ribs.
Eye swinging wildly here.

Eye walks into a left hand.
DiSoto connects with a right hand. Eye shakes it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Eye throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and DiSoto counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Eye thinking.
Eye looks winded!
Eye tries to clinch up.
DiSoto misses with a body shot.
DiSoto lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Eye falls backwards - clearly groggy! DiSoto dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
