Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Durrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trick Panoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durrant shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Panoz fails with the takedown

and Durrant counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Durrant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Panoz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Durrant trying to stand up but can't free himself from Panoz's guard.
Durrant trying to control the position from guard on top but Panoz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Durrant throwing strikes from guard but Panoz blocks nicely.

Panoz pushes Durrant off and scrambles back to his feet.
Good work by Durrant as he checks the leg kick.
Panoz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Durrant counters with a shoot takedown. Panoz fights it but they end up in guard.

Panoz controls Durrant momentarily but Durrant frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Durrant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Durrant wants to control from the top but Panoz keeps moving.
Panoz controls Durrant momentarily but Durrant frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Durrant is breathing heavily.
Panoz looking for a sweep. Not yet Panoz, not yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Durrant fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Panoz misses with a two punch combination.

Durrant shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Panoz working to try and regain half guard.
Panoz wants to get back to his feet.

Durrant stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Durrant gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Panoz counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Durrant. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Panoz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Durrant looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Panoz wants to control from the top but Durrant keeps moving.

Panoz is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Durrant has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Panoz is looking to defend but Durrant has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Panoz! Durrant pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Panoz taps out and this one is all over!
