Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Lepijewitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Ireland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ireland has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bret Ireland enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Bret Ireland!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lepijewitz is defended easily by Ireland.

Lepijewitz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ireland pinned against the cage. Ireland gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ireland wants to counter with a clinch but Lepijewitz pushes him away.

Lepijewitz throws a right hand that Ireland ducks under and follows up with a left that Ireland also avoids with ease.
Despite the aggression on Ireland's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lepijewitz throws a nice looking combination but Ireland bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ireland jumps guard and drags Lepijewitz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lepijewitz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ireland manages to get himself to full guard.

Well Ireland has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
