Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teu cu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edd Palakiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

A momentary lapse in concentration from cu enables Palakiko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. cu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Palakiko tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Palakiko has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Palakiko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by cu, who protects the arm well.
cu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Palakiko has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Palakiko feints and as cu raises his hands in defense, Palakiko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
cu wants to get back to his feet but Palakiko passes into half guard.

Palakiko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Palakiko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Palakiko lands in his opponent's guard.

Palakiko cracks cu with an uppercut from hell and cu crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Palakiko's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
