The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man tries to clinch up but Burgess circles away and keeps his distance.
Man dives in for a single leg takedown but Burgess sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Burgess clinches up against the cage.
Man misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Man pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Man tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Burgess counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Burgess.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burgess's guard.

Banana Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Burgess counters with a nice uppercut.
Burgess stuffs the takedown attempt from Man. Man gets slowly back to his feet.
