Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Granville Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heinz K Junker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heinz K Junker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Granville Salazar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Heinz K Junker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junker throws a lazy head kick
and Salazar counters with a good, hard body kick but Junker shrugs it off.
Junker tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Salazar makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Salazar rushes Junker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Junker fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Salazar prevents the takedown attempt.
Salazar drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Salazar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Salazar - that will leave a mark!
Junker wants to clinch but Salazar slips to the side
and Salazar counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Junker misses with a body punch
and Salazar counters with a body kick.
Junker looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Junker misses with a takedown
and Salazar counters with a two punch combo.
Granville Salazar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heinz K Junker.

Salazar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Junker, pushing him back against the cage.
Salazar can't get the takedown.

Salazar manages to break the clinch.

Salazar rushes Junker and presses him up against the cage.

Salazar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Salazar has closed the distance and engaged Junker in a clinch.
Salazar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Junker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Junker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Salazar gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Junker misses with a knee strike.
Salazar lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Junker.
Junker working hard to break the clinch.

Salazar manages to break the clinch.
Junker wants to clinch but Salazar slips to the side

and Salazar counters with a crisp one two that drops Junker! Salazar thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Junker to his feet! Junker is in big trouble!


Junker is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salazar lands with a nice body kick.
Junker is still on wobbly legs! Can Salazar finish him?
Salazar tries for a takedown but Junker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Junker seems to have recovered his senses.
Salazar shoots in looking for a takedown. Junker tries to sprawl out of it but Salazar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Junker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Salazar instigates a clinch.

Salazar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Salazar lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Salazar punishes Junker's body with a nice straight punch.

Salazar gets a clinch.

Salazar manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A nice leg kick lands there from Salazar.
Salazar has a takedown stuffed.

Salazar clinches.

Salazar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Salazar feints a jab promting Junker to slip. Salazar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Junker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Salazar shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Junker eats them both and turns towards Salazar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Salazar lands a left and a right that send Junker crashing to the mat, dazed. Salazar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Heinz K Junker has been cut.
Salazar plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Granville Salazar dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Heinz K Junker's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Salazar moves into range and clinches up with Junker.
Junker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Salazar smiles and moves away.
Junker throws the kick towards the body but Salazar avoids it.
Junker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Salazar scores with a spinning back kick!
Junker fails with the takedown
and Salazar counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Salazar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Junker is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salazar lands a head kick. Junker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Salazar lands a big head kick that sends Junker tumbling to the mat! Salazar takes a step backwards and waves Junker back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Junker has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Salazar.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Junker tries to keep at a distance but Salazar has taken the fight into the clinch.
Junker wants to break the clinch but can't.

Salazar manages to pull guard.
Junker trying to control but Salazar is working from the bottom.
Salazar trying to keep a closed guard but Junker is proving a slippery customer.

Junker has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Salazar to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Junker is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Salazar pulls down on the head and he's put Junker to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Granville Salazar!
