Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Koreshkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koreshkov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Beyoncé - 7/11. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Bones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrey Koreshkov!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koreshkov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bones takes a swing at Koreshkov's ribcage but misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bones.
Koreshkov doesn't manage to clinch there - Bones circles away.
Bones has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.
Koreshkov blocks the body kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bones, right into the meat.
Koreshkov shoots in for a takedown but Bones shows good takedown defense.
Koreshkov tries to clinch but Bones is having none of it.

Koreshkov darts in and clinches Bones up against the cage.
Bones looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bones is trying to break the clinch but Koreshkov has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Koreshkov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bones walks away with a smile on his face. Koreshkov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Koreshkov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Koreshkov moves into the clinch.
Koreshkov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Bones tries to break the clinch but Koreshkov is controlling the position.

Bones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bones throws a body punch but Koreshkov moves out of range.
Koreshkov doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Koreshkov blocks a jab.

Koreshkov moves into the clinch successfully.
Koreshkov lands an uppercut.
Koreshkov prevents Bones from breaking the clinch.
Koreshkov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bones just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jon Bones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrey Koreshkov.
Koreshkov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bones fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Koreshkov has time to react.

Koreshkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

It looks like Jon Bones has been cut.

Bones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Koreshkov tries to clinch but Bones moves out of range.
Bones throws a body kick that misses.

and Bones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bones connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bones missing with a left hand there. Koreshkov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Koreshkov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Koreshkov on the ground.

Koreshkov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bones's head.

The fight stays on the outside here - Koreshkov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Koreshkov clinches up with Bones and pushes him back against the cage.
Bones tries to circle away but Koreshkov has him pinned against the cage.
Koreshkov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Koreshkov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Koreshkov manages to end up in side control.

Koreshkov goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bones has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Koreshkov but great work by Bones.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Koreshkov looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Bones pushes past his half guard into mount!

I would just about give that final round to Andrey Koreshkov.
I think Bones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
