The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suh drives through and clinches with Luigi against the cage.
Luigi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Suh blocks it with crossed arms.
Suh lands with a right to the head.
Suh has a couple of punches blocked by Luigi.
Suh lands with a left to the head.
Luigi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Suh can't find room to land a body shot as Luigi controls the action.
Suh lands with a short shot to the head.
Luigi tries a knee to the head but Suh blocks it.
Suh lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Luigi backwards.
Luigi wants to break free but Suh has control.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Suh creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

I was talking to Suh's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Luigi has had enough of the clinch but Suh keeps him there for the moment.

Suh lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Suh creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Luigi with a big uppercut! Luigi tries to clinch up but Suh pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Luigi to the mat! Luigi covers up and Suh unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
