The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammouche misses with a straight right.
Trigger misses with a wild combination.

Trigger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trigger wants it to stay on the feet.
Hammouche jabs Trigger to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hammouche missing with a left hand there. Trigger was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Trigger is looking to counter the offense by Hammouche and move into the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Trigger has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hammouche misses with a low kick as Trigger jumps back.

Nice uppercut lands for Trigger. That snapped Hammouche's head back.
Trigger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hammouche misses with a few strikes there.
Trigger tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hammouche manages to circle out of the way.
Trigger slips under a jab.
Trigger wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Hammouche misses with a left hand

and Trigger counters with a nice right hand that sends Hammouche toppling to the canvas! Hammouche scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Trigger finish him?!


Hammouche is rocked!
Djamel Hammouche seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Are you kidding me?! Trigger ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Hammouche clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

After winning the bout, Taj Trigger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
