The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Mayhew misses the target.
Siffredi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Siffredi lands a slapping body shot.
Mayhew tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Siffredi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Siffredi scores with a shot to the body.
Mayhew throws a right hand that Siffredi ducks under and follows up with a left that Siffredi also avoids with ease.
Mayhew throws a leg kick
and Siffredi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Siffredi lands a nice hook to Mayhew's body. Mayhew takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mayhew is breathing heavily.
Siffredi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mayhew momentarily.

It looks like Darren Mayhew has been cut.
Mayhew is holding his hands too far apart here. Siffredi throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Mayhew is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
