Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Gatto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philadelphia Collins!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gatto shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Collins napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Gatto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Collins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gatto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Collins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gatto postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Collins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gatto, into his guard.

Gatto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Collins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Collins is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Gatto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Collins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Collins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Collins has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Collins tries to bum rush Gatto with a series of wild strikes but Gatto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gatto half committed to a counter leg kick.
Collins lands with a hook. Gatto tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Philadelphia Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gatto takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.


Joe Gatto's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Collins with a hook.
Collins cracks Gatto with a hook to the temple - Gatto is on wobbly legs here! Collins swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Gatto falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Collins wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Philadelphia Collins!

A very excited looking Philadelphia Collins rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Joe Gatto stepped up to the mic, saying 'Larry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'.
