The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Hall.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Money Jr looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Money Jr throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hall can do anything to dispel that myth.
Money Jr wants to take a breather but Hall is having none of it.
Hall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Money Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Money Jr trying to pass the guard but Hall defending well.
Money Jr stops Hall from getting back to his feet.
Money Jr thows a huge punch but Hall dodges it nicely.
Money Jr wants to stand up but Hall is controlling the position.
Hall is staying active underneath Money Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Money Jr is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hall throws the left hand but Money Jr avoids the punch easily.

Hall scores with a nice head shot.
Money Jr fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hall lands a really nice looking cross but Money Jr seems unphased.
Hall misses the shot to the body.
Money Jr tries for a takedown but Hall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Money Jr ducks under a wild hook from Hall.

Hall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Money Jr, pushing him back against the cage.

Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hall drives through and clinches with Money Jr against the cage.
Money Jr tries to throw a body punch but Hall avoids it by throwing Money Jr back against the cage.
Money Jr tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sauce Money Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hall lands a jab-cross combination.
Hank Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Money Jr is breathing heavily.
Hall throws a series of punches but Money Jr moves out of range.

Money Jr moves out of range of the strikes.
A combination from Hall does no damage.
Hall throws a push kick but Money Jr slaps the foot to one side.
Hall lands with a cross.
Money Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Hall sprawls well. He's pushed Money Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hall drops Money Jr with a huge uppercut! Money Jr drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Hall is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
