Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Bogey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorje Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Slayer's choice of entrance music: Otep - Battle Ready. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogey lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Slayer on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bogey throws a head kick that misses.
Bogey gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slayer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bogey working a defensive guard here.
Bogey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slayer on the ground.
Slayer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slayer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bogey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bogey can't keep his opponent in guard - Slayer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bogey has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Slayer is working away from the top position though.
Slayer seems to be working for a kimura but Bogey defends the submission attempt.
Bogey is trying to stand up here but Slayer is controlling him well.

Slayer blocks the strikes from Bogey.
Slayer is working for a submission of some sort.
Bogey wants to improve his position but Slayer is controlling well.
Slayer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bogey is just riding it out for now. Slayer eventually gives up the hold.
Bogey wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bogey is defending against the submission attempts here by Slayer.
Bogey looks like he's trying to stand up.
Slayer prevents Bogey from improving his position.

Slayer passes the guard and advances to mount!
Slayer with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Slayer is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bogey has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bogey!

Bogey is posturing up here but Slayer has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bogey tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bogey has to tap! Slick submission there by Slayer!
