The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmund fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walker manages to avoid it.
Walker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Walker throws a hook to the side of Edmund 's head but Edmund sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Edmund has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Walker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Edmund .
Edmund throws a lazy right hand but Walker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Walker misses the target.
Walker misses with the combination.
Walker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Edmund lands a lovely overhand right.
Walker lands with an overhand left.
Edmund thows a left - swing and a miss!
Walker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Edmund momentarily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walker is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Edmund swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.
Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

No joy there for Edmund , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Edmund gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Edmund tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Walker is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Edmund buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Edmund !! Edmund is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Walker throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
