Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Broderick Brickstock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sukro Lesmono!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesmono instigates a clinch.
Lesmono prevents Brickstock from breaking the clinch.
Lesmono's coach down at Better Alternative ($800/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lesmono's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Brickstock is trying to break the clinch but Lesmono is controlling him.
Lesmono is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brickstock pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lesmono is trying to drag Brickstock to the mat but Brickstock just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lesmono works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Lesmono wants to pass the guard but Brickstock is keeping the position.
Lesmono trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesmono wants to pass the guard but Brickstock is keeping the position.

Lesmono looking to sit in guard and control but Brickstock gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brickstock trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Lesmono manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Brickstock looking for a sweep. Not yet Brickstock, not yet.
Lesmono stands up over Brickstock, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Lesmono stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brickstock swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brickstock is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Brickstock keeping moving, preventing Lesmono from controlling successfully.
Lesmono in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Lesmono is looking to advance position but Brickstock has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Brickstock controlling his opponent.
Lesmono is trying desperately to improve position.
Lesmono tries to hold on but Brickstock pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lesmono tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Brickstock controlling the pace for now.
Brickstock's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Lesmono gets back to half guard.
Lesmono wants to improve his position but Brickstock is controlling well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lesmono makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lesmono.
Brickstock decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lesmono shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brickstock defends it nicely.
Broderick Brickstock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sukro Lesmono.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lesmono drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Broderick Brickstock will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Brickstock drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lesmono is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Brickstock decides to stand back up.
Lesmono goes for a double leg but Brickstock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brickstock continues to drive forward.
It looked like Brickstock was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesmono fails with a takedown attempt.
Brickstock went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brickstock lands a left and a right that send Lesmono crashing to the mat, dazed. Brickstock thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Sukro Lesmono has been cut.
Brickstock connects with a stiff jab that staggers Lesmono - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Broderick Brickstock!
Our winner, Broderick Brickstock, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
