The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hills misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hills decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hills is thwarting Sixx 's attempts to control the position.
Hills is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hills is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Hills working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sixx trying to hold on to Hills's head to control him but Hills postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sixx tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Hills manages to move to mount!

Hills postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Sixx in real trouble here! The ref calls for Sixx to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
