Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Helio Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yippe Mofo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chavez comes to the ring accompanied by The Brazilian National Anthem. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mofo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mofo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Chavez misses with a looping right.
Mofo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chavez's waist but Chavez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mofo off to one side.
Mofo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chavez.
Mofo closes the distance and clinches up with Chavez, looking for a takedown. Mofo pushes Chavez against the ropes but Chavez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mofo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Chavez lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Mofo sprawling to the canvas. Chavez follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Mofo hang on?

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mofo is going olschool here, as he tries to force Chavez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chavez shrugs it off.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Mofo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chavez tries to avoid it but Mofo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chavez to the ground. Chavez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Chavez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mofo is working away from the top position though.

Mofo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mofo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
