Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Korey Livingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cardo Dalisay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Korey Livingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cardo Dalisay!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Watson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalisay lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Dalisay has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dalisay is trying to break the clinch but Livingston has him pressed against the cage.

Nice straight punches there by Dalisay. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dalisay.

Livingston fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dalisay to the ground. Livingston is now in Dalisay's guard.
Dalisay is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dalisay is pulling down on Livingston's head. It's preventing any offense from Livingston, at least for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Let's hope that Dalisay has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Dalisay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Dalisay shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dalisay wants to pass to mount but Livingston is defending the position.
Dalisay is nestled in close to Livingston, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Livingston wants to control but Dalisay is keeping busy.

Dalisay looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Dalisay sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Livingston is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Dalisay misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Livingston is squirming around, avoiding Dalisay's attempts to control the action.
Dalisay sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Dalisay shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Livingston's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dalisay wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Livingston, who protects the arm well.

and Dalisay counters with a three punch combo that has Livingston backing up. Livingston nods at Dalisay to acknowledge the strikes.

Well Dalisay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
