Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Stallone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stuart Ball!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sly Stallone!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stallone fails with a takedown attempt.
Stallone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ball sprawls well. Ball wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stallone gets slowly back to his feet.

Stallone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stallone advances position into side control!
You can see the frustration on Ball's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stallone controls the position from side control.
Ball can't do much from the bottom here.
Ball seems a little lost for a moment, as Stallone dominates the positioning.
Ball struggling a bit here.
Stallone wants to stand but Ball is controlling his arm.

Stallone tries for a kimura but Ball is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Ball is looking for a sweep.
Ball could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ball is working hard here to advance position.
Stallone controls the position from side control.
Ball is trying to get back to half guard.
Stallone wants to control but Ball is keeping him busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ball struggling a bit here.

Stallone is trying to get an arm triangle but Ball is defending well.
Ball wants to control but Stallone postures up.
Ball knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stallone on the ground.

Stallone decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A low kick from Stallone misses

and Ball counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stallone makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stallone.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stallone looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Stallone trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Stallone seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Stallone trying to keep a closed guard but Ball is proving a slippery customer.
Stallone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ball is controlling him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Stallone tries to strike from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sly Stallone dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Stallone shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Stallone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Stallone wants to control but Ball is keeping him busy.
Ball is trying to improve his position.

Ball trying to remain calm as Stallone controls from the top position.
Ball tries to buck Stallone off but Stallone is having none of it.
Ball looking for a sweep but Stallone has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Sly Stallone has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ball in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Stallone with a couple of short strikes.

Stallone looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Stallone is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Ball is just holding on here. Stallone manages to take his back.
Ball prevents Stallone from getting a body triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stallone is punishing Ball with some ground and pound.

Stallone looking for the choke from the back.

Stallone patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ball grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Ball is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Stallone looking for the choke but no joy.
Stallone gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Stallone is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Ball taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Stallone.
