Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Luiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonthan Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry has chosen hit em up as his entrance music. Jonthan Henry has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luiz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Luiz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Luiz keeps the fight on the outside.
Luiz throws a body punch but Henry moves out of range.
Luiz takes a swing at Henry 's ribcage but misses.
Henry fails with an attempt to clinch.
Henry closes this distance looking for a takedown but Luiz circles away.
Luiz scores with a body shot.
Henry takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Henry shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Luiz as he jumps to the side.
Luiz lands a jab to Henry 's midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fernando Luiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonthan Henry .

Luiz jabs Henry to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Luiz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Henry .
A lazy left from Luiz finds it's target.
Luiz scores with a hook to the body. Henry takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Henry fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Luiz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Luiz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Henry moves away.
Henry is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Luiz lands a jab.
Henry has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Luiz finds it's way round the side to connect with Henry 's head.
Fernando Luiz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Luiz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Henry doesn't seem bothered though.
Luiz is looking to wear down Henry with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Henry avoids the body shot from Luiz.

Luiz lands a left and a right that send Henry crashing to the mat, dazed. Luiz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Henry is rocked!

It looks like Jonthan Henry has been cut.
Henry glances at the clock... BAM! Luiz nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Henry crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Henry is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
