PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franco Colombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philo Beddo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colombo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. On his way into the cage it seems that Franco Colombo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Franco Colombo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beddo sizes up Colombo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Colombo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Beddo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Beddo. Those never looked like landing.
Philo Beddo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beddo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Colombo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Beddo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Colombo scrambles back to his feet.
Beddo lands a jab to the nose.
Beddo connects with a single shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Colombo tries to clinch but Beddo moves out of range.

Colombo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Beddo throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Colombo crashing down! Colombo tries to stagger back to his feet but Beddo just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Colombo asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
