Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humu Kalakaua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Richter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalakaua comes to the cage accompanied by Ho'okena. The key to victory for Humu Kalakaua has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kalakaua swivels and escapes.
Richter shoots for a takedown but Kalakaua saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

It looks like John Richter has been cut.
Richter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Richter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kalakaua's waist but Kalakaua gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Richter off to one side.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kalakaua tries to bum rush Richter with a series of wild strikes but Richter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Richter closes the distance and clinches up with Kalakaua, looking for a takedown. Richter pushes Kalakaua against the cage but Kalakaua circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Richter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Humu Kalakaua showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kalakaua, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
