The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hobbs misses with a hook.
Blachowicz drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hobbs defends it well.
Blachowicz tries to close the distance and clinch but Hobbs swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Dominic Hobbs has been cut.

Blachowicz closes the distance and pushes Hobbs back into the cage.
Hobbs throws a head punch that misses.

Hobbs takes a swing at Blachowicz's ribcage but misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hobbs. Blachowicz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blachowicz throws a push kick but Hobbs slaps the foot to one side.
Blachowicz connects with a high kick.
Hobbs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blachowicz moves away.
Blachowicz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hobbs manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hobbs drops down looking for a counter takedown but Blachowicz sprawls and moves away.
Hobbs misses with a hook.
Blachowicz grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Hobbs takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Blachowicz cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
