Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen The Dark Knight Rises Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dante Adams has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Royce Vega's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vega tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Adams is in Vega's guard.
Adams wants to pass the guard but Vega is keeping the position.

Vega has his foot on Adams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Adams works his way back into a safe position though.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Adams working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Vega is rocked!

Vega escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Adams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Oh Vega is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Adams postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Vega covers up, he's hurt! Adams keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Adams and the ref steps in to end the fight! Adams can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
