The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Rockhold throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rockhold slips under a jab.
Rockhold clinches up against the ropes.
Rockhold trying to stall but Khan improves his position.
Khan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Rockhold doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Khan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Khan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rockhold is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Rockhold tries to clinch but Khan moves out of range.
Khan lands a head kick. Rockhold smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Khan scores with a head kick. Rockhold tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Rockhold is rocked!
Rockhold throws a big shot that misses.
Rockhold is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him?
Rockhold wants to stay close but Khan steps back to make room for something. Rockhold seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Khan and Rockhold drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ganbaatar Khan!
