Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lance Maroga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenato Ingles!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ingles fails to land with a series of punches.
Maroga went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Maroga fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Maroga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ingles defends it nicely.
Ingles lands a left and a right that send Maroga crashing to the mat, dazed. Ingles thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Lance Maroga has been cut.
Ingles feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Marogas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ingles scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Maroga is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ingles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Oh Maroga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ingles walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Maroga drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Ingles swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Maroga's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenato Ingles!
