Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Schopenhauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schopenhauer comes to the cage accompanied by London Calling. On his way into the cage it seems that Arthur Schopenhauer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Arthur Schopenhauer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Jackson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jackson looks to land a right hand but Schopenhauer moved out of range.
Schopenhauer attempts a counter takedown but Jackson avoids it well and moves away.
Jackson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Schopenhauer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at O'Brannigans MMA in the buildup to the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Schopenhauer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jackson lands with a hook. Schopenhauer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Schopenhauer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jackson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Schopenhauer throws an elbow but Jackson slips to the side and avoids it well.

Jackson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Schopenhauer.
Schopenhauer tries to move to mount but Jackson blocks the move with his legs.

Schopenhauer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Schopenhauer misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Schopenhauer tries to advance to mount but Jackson denies him.
Schopenhauer tries to move to full mount but Jackson actually manages to regain half guard.

Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schopenhauer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Schopenhauer is working Jackson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Schopenhauer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard.
Schopenhauer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.
Schopenhauer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Schopenhauer is pressing down on Jackson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jackson is holding on for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Arthur Schopenhauer will probably get the nod.

Jackson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jackson.
Jackson has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Jackson lands with an uppercut that bounces Schopenhauer off the cage and back into range.
Schopenhauer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Schopenhauer's shoulder, as Schopenhauer tries to avoid the shot.
Schopenhauer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rodney Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Schopenhauer takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Rodney Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
