Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nir Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes to the cage accompanied by Excuse Me. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edwin Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nir Sosa!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jordan.
Jordan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Sosa gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Jordan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sosa.
And Sosa tries to counter it with a takedown but Jordan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Edwin Jordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jordan throws a left that rocks Sosa and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jordan dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Sosa regain composure!

Jordan is stalling here. Sosa is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jordan seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sosa has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Jordan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sosa is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sosa has escaped and now he's on top!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jordan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
