The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ebbers shoots in looking for a takedown. Washington tries to sprawl out of it but Ebbers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Washington manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Washington screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
