Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Alucard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexei Dmitriev!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Dmitriev.
Alucard looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Dmitriev pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Alucard back to the cage. Dmitriev follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Dmitriev clinches up with Alucard and pushes him back against the cage.
Dmitriev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Alucard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dmitriev defends it nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dmitriev. That's going to slow Alucard down.
Alucard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dmitriev thuds his right hand into Alucard's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Alucard takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Alucard tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dmitriev defends well and Alucard ends up having to push Dmitriev into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dmitriev fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Alucard, pushing him back against the cage.
Dmitriev digs a right hand underneath Alucard's ribcage. Alucard let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Dmitriev breaks from the clinch.
Dmitriev lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Whack! Dmitriev lands a heavy head kick that drops Alucard. The ref tackles Dmitriev to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Alucard was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Alexei Dmitriev!
