The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boggs uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Boggs defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Thomson .
Boggs throws a counter combo.
Thomson moves forwards but Boggs connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Boggs lands with a hook. Thomson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thomson is on top in guard.

Boggs wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Boggs scores with a jab. Thomson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Boggs throws a series of strikes that have Thomson backpedaling.
