Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sean Manuwa!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuwa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Delacruz's guard.
Delacruz controls Manuwa momentarily but Manuwa frees himself.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Manuwa's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Delacruz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Delacruz is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Delacruz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Delacruz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manuwa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Delacruz seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delacruz keeping moving, preventing Manuwa from controlling successfully.
Delacruz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Manuwa wants to pass the guard but Delacruz is keeping the position.

Delacruz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Delacruz is looking for a triangle but Manuwa pushes his legs off easily.
Manuwa with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Manuwa pushes down on Delacruz's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Manuwa in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Delacruz tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Manuwa!
