The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amarillo scores with a decent looking hook.
Amarillo throws out a powerful jab.
Amarillo throws a nice looking combination but Svenson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Svenson tries a head kick but it misses.
Amarillo throws a hook but Svenson avoids it easily.
Svenson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Svenson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Svenson showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amarillo is trying to get back to full guard.
Amarillo works his way to full guard. Good work.
Svenson trying to control the position from guard on top but Amarillo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Amarillo is looking for a triangle but Svenson pushes his legs off easily.

Svenson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Svenson seems to be looking for submissions.

Amarillo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Svenson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Amarillo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Svenson is bucking up trying to escape but Amarillo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Amarillo cracks Svenson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Amarillo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Svenson tries to hold on but Amarillo postures up.
Amarillo cracks Svenson with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
