Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorrence Fizaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fizaro gets a double leg takedown into Porter's guard.
Porter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fizaro controls the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fizaro is pushing down on Porter's leg trying to pass to half guard. Porter is fighting to maintain full guard but Fizaro has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Fizaro closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Porter did well to prevent Fizaro getting side control.
Fizaro is looking to advance position but Porter won't allow it.
Fizaro frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Porter is desperately trying to improve his position but Fizaro has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fizaro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Fizaro lands a couple of good shots and Porter has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Fizaro is not going to allow Porter to sit and survive in this position.

Fizaro is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Fizaro.
Fizaro punches Porter on the ear.
Fizaro has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Porter's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Porter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fizaro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
