Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Santana Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rihanna Pour It Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Santana Blaze could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Derrick King's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santana Blaze!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derrick King!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze clobbers King with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Blaze misses with a jab, cross combination.
King tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Blaze was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
King takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
King gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Blaze throws a series of punches but King avoids them all with ease.
Blaze jabs King right on the nose. King blinks but takes it well.
Blaze tries to bum rush King with a series of wild strikes but King uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King tries to clinch but Blaze is having none of it.
A jab from Blaze does it's job there.
Blaze bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of King's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blaze keeps the fight on the outside.
Blaze avoids the head kick by King.
Blaze sizes up King with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Blaze!
Blaze is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Blaze misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
King wants to counter with a clinch but Blaze pushes him away.
Blaze swats away the attempt to clinch by King.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King misses with a head kick.
Blaze connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
King misses with a hook.
Blaze throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
King tries to counter by closing the distance.
The crowd cheers as Blaze lands an impressive looking overhand right. King doesn't seem phased though.
King scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
King misses with a few strikes there.
Blaze lands a two punch combo.
Blaze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
King wants to counter with a clinch but Blaze pushes him away.
Blaze fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches King on the side of the head.
King misses with a hook
and King takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
King is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blaze lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. King is looking to close the distance but Blaze sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! King crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope King is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Santana Blaze!

Santana Blaze looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Derrick that's what happens when u stab me, u get knock out, and thank u my fans.'.
Derrick King was interviewed post fight and said 'Off to the strip club then'.
