The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Zlatan Arshavin has been cut.
Ed Skank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skank cracks Arshavin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Skank scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Arshavin doesn't seem bothered though.
We've been told by Skank's head coaches at Flower Power Pillow Fighters Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Arshavin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Skank sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Arshavin somewhat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arshavin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd cheers as Skank lands an impressive looking overhand right. Arshavin doesn't seem phased though.

Arshavin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Skank throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Arshavin on the side of the head.

Arshavin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Arshavin ducks into an uppercut from Skank and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
